The State Peace Talks Team holds the meeting with the peace delegation of the Shan State Progress Party-SSPP in Nay Pyi Taw on 5 August 2022.

The State Peace Talks Team held a meeting with representatives from the Shan State Progress Party-SSPP at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre’s meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, who is also a member of the State Administration Council, Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Leader of the State Peace Talks Team, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Lt-Gen Min Naung, the secretary of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee, and Vice-Chairman (1) Sao Khur Tai, Vice-Chairman (2) Sao Khun Seng and Central Committee member Sao Naw Leik from SSPP took part in the meeting.
At the meeting, Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and SSPP Vice-Chairman (1) Sao Khur Tai gave opening speeches and the attendees discussed peace and development affairs.
The second-day meeting will be continued on 6 August, it is learnt.—MNA
