State responsibilities will be handed over to the elected government without fail after holding the election: Senior General

The government will join hands with anyone if they can strive for the improvement of the State, said Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the meeting with MSME businesspersons at the city hall in Bago yesterday afternoon. The Bago Region chief minister and businesspersons reported on efforts for developing MSME industries and local and foreign investments, wish to seek capital and technical assistance for rice mill industries, development of the sculpture industry, the assistance of the State for sculptors to join internal and external handicraft shows, capital for the coffee industry and MSME businesses, turning out of human resources and requirement for regional development.
Discussions of Union ministers in relevant sectors
Union ministers discussed systematic applications for loans, repayment of loans, connection with relevant departments for seeking assistance, emphasis on increasing forest coverage areas, and connection with MSME work committee for joining MSME shows and contests to seek the market of domestic products.
Speaking on the occasion, the Senior General disclosed that the State economy was on a downtrend from 2018. It plummeted more in 2020 due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and then the State economy faced a minus in 2021 because of Covid-19 and the political crisis.
Encouraging manufacturing industries based on agriculture and livestock
The Senior General continued to say that the country has 15 million acres of monsoon and more than 13 million acres of paddy field. If crops are grown on these lands as double cropping, crop capability will increase. If agriculture and livestock tasks increase with high per-acre yield, Bago Region will increase incomes.
Requirements of raw materials, electricity, inputs and human resources for the success of MSMEs
The government disburses loans to MSME industries under restrictions. Likewise, agriculture, livestock and technical high schools are opened for turning out necessary human resources for agriculture and livestock farms. Only when students have a school education, can they learn techniques.
Then, the Senior General highlighted the running of milk and dairy products, meat, fish and egg production, rubber, rice and oil crops production.
Need to create the chance for working
The Senior General stressed the need to create the chance for people to work. The government emphasizes the creation of employment. The Senior General expressed his pledge that State responsibilities will be handed over to the elected government without fail after holding the election. Hence, priority is being given to ensuring the peace and stability of the State. He expressed his attitude that the government will join hands with anyone if they can strive for the improvement of the State. He expressed his belief that the government will achieve success as it focuses on the development of the nation.
The Senior General viewed round domestic products, foodstuffs, personal goods, industrial products, traditional products and clothes put on display and asked about market sharing of these products. — MNA/TTA
