Tatmadaw has pledged to hold the multiparty democracy general election in a peaceful and stable situation: Senior General

All have to plant trees to ensure favourable weather in the region and prevent natural disasters to some extent, said Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the meetings with Tatmadaw members and families at Maygawady Hall of Sittway Station and Tatmadaw members, families and trainees from Myanmar Police Force at Aungsitthi hall of Advanced Military Training Depot in Kanni Station separately yesterday morning.
In his speech, the Senior General said that cyclone Mocha caused the largest casualties after cyclone Nargis, leaving 148 persons dead. Thanks to preparations, the region could overcome the challenges with the least loss and damage. In the aftermath of the storm, guidance was given to carry out rescue and relief measures and rehabilitation tasks. Renovation and repair will take a long time due to systematic calculation for the long-term existence of structures.

The Senior General stressed the need to grow trees as part of making preparedness against natural disasters. At present, all have to plant trees to ensure favourable weather in the region and prevent natural disasters to some extent.
The Senior General highlighted that every soldier needs to have military awareness and military conscience. If they can effectively apply the experiences from training in the battlefields, they can comprehensively combat enemies.
As two national objectives and two political objectives are being implemented for fine purposes, Tatmadaw firmly believes that it will surely achieve success in implementation. Tatmadaw has pledged to hold the multiparty democracy general election in a peaceful and stable situation, he added. To be peaceful and stable in the state, armed conflicts must cease.
The Senior General urged all to read and encourage their offspring to learn education.
The Senior General presented foodstuffs for Tatmadaw members, families and trainees from relevant stations whereas his wife gave cash assistance for the station maternal and child welfare associations to officials. — MNA/TTA
