Tatmadaw (Navy) transports supplies to people in Mocha-hit Rakhine State

A truck for the use in relief efforts is seen being loaded onto the vessel yesterday.

A 56-metre landing craft from Tatmadaw (Navy) carrying five security personnel from the local based heavy machinery workshop, and two CAT 320 excavators weighing 40 tonnes docked at the Angumaw Port and transported to people in Cyclone-hit Sittway yesterday afternoon.
Similarly, MV MCL 5 watercraft owned by MCL Company Limited docked at Bo Aung Kyaw, Yangon Region carrying various hardwoods, foodstuffs and relief items totalling 2,400 metric tons left for Sittway on the same day.
At the departure of the ship, Central Naval Command Commander Rear-Admiral Htein Win, General Manager U Zaw Tun Lwin of Myanma Port Authority and officials saw off the ship.
Construction vehicles and relief materials transported by the warship and the MV-MCL 5 owned by MCL Company will be handed over to officials in an orderly manner. —MNA/KZL
