Tatmadaw provides Covid-19 protective equipment, oxygen tanks

Tatmadaw medical team, healthcare workers and civil society organizations are working together for COVID-19-positive patients in the military hospitals, public hospitals, healthcare departments and COVID centres while the third wave of COVID-19 is increasing.
In doing so, Tatmadaw members have been donating the disease prevention, control and treatment equipment and oxygen tanks and foods to the hospitals.
From 1 July to yesterday, Commanders from the respective military commands have donated 3,952 oxygen tanks, 323,762 surgical masks, 1,560 sets of PPE, 689 hand gel bottles, 200 face shields, four buckets of hand wash, 1,200 surgical gloves, 900 hair covers, with petrol, food and cash assistance.
Donors from Pathein, Laputa, Maubin, Nyaungdon and Ein Mae Townships, Ayeyawady Region provided medical equipment related to the disease, nutritious food and cash assistance to COVID-19 centres and certificates of honour for the well-wishers were given by Commanders and respective officials. — MNA
