Union Minister Dr Pwint San addresses ministry’s weekly meeting

Union Minister for Commerce Dr Pwint San addressed the weekly meeting of his ministry on trade promotion, consumer protection, copyright law enforcement and the situation of domestic goods flow held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
Officials from respective departments discussed matters pertaining to trade activities at border trade points, the establishment of the Consumer Call Centre to help consumers report any problems according to the Consumer Protection Law, export of more basic farming products, copyright issues, participation of Myanmar businesspeople to Dubai Expo 2020 held in Dubai, and the implementation of a policy framework for the development of oilseeds and edible oils.
The Union Minister urged them to immediately implement the activities to get the right price of basic farming products and export quality agricultural products from the country. He instructed to ensure compliance with the law, rules, and regulations to carry out activities and coordinate as necessary.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister, the Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, the Deputy Permanent Secretary and Deputy Directors-General. — MNA
