Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspects preparations for 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, who is in the capacity of Patron of the Leading Committee for Organizing the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition, inspected preparations to hold the 24th performing arts competition yesterday afternoon.
Accompanied by Union ministers, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and deputy ministers, the Vice-Senior General inspected preparations for holding the competition at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-II (MICC-II), the Yinkyayhmu Yadana Hall, the Training Theatre, the National Museum and the National Library of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw. The Vice-Senior General heard reports of officials and fulfilled their needs.

At the Nay Pyi Taw Transit Centre, the Vice-Senior General made inspections on hostels, mess halls, kitchens, canteens and shops for the convenience of maestros who will serve as panels of judges at the competition, administrative officials, contestants and their parents in accommodation and food supplies, practices of contestants, work process of relevant subcommittees and grouping of medical teams.
After giving the necessary instructions, the Vice-Senior General cordially greeted maestros and contestants. — MNA/TTA
