YRIC nods eight domestic, foreign investments on 25 Oct

Those endorsed projects will invest in the manufacturing sector and create over 5,000 jobs for local residents.

The Yangon Region Investment Committee (YRIC) endorsed two domestic and six foreign enterprises in the manufacturing sector, with an estimated capital of over US$6.23 million and K4.55 billion at the meeting 10/2023 held on 25 October at the YRIC office, creating over 5,500 jobs for residents.
Those enterprises will execute the manufacturing of footwear, clothes, apparel, headphones and related items, paper parcel boxes, poly resin, cold cast bronze, pewter statues and sculpture, Cutting, Making, and Packing (CMP) and processing of frozen vegetable and fruits.
At the meeting, six companies raised general matters, including the expansion of capital by one enterprise and the creation of 400 job opportunities. — NN/EM
