1,600 gallons of drinking water donated for villages

A charity organization led by U Win Min Tun from Myingaba village in Nyaung-U Township donated 1,600 gallons of drinking water to Ywar Thit Taung village residents in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay region on 23 March.
The water was donated in order to prevent a shortage of drinking water in summer. More than 800 people are living in 165 houses in Ywar Thit Taung village in Nyaung-U Township.
The local villagers are using the water from the well. But they need to wait for two days to use the water because the water contains lime. So, they are facing a lack of drinking water in summer. But they have access to sufficient water supply in monsoon, said a local villager from Ywar Thit Taung village.
The organization donated 1,600 gallons of water on 23 March 2021 to those villages to ensure the sufficiency of the drinking water in summer.
