Naturally, three basic needs, namely food, clothing, and shelter, are the most important for people’s daily lives. So, they are striving for ensuring the sufficiency of three basic needs along with their lives. In fact, people are worried about how to solve three basic needs in their respective families.
As part of solving the problems of shelter, which can also be called accommodation, the government and private sectors implement housing projects in all regions and states, not only for the people but for service personnel. Hence, housing projects mushroom in major populous cities such as Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw Council Area for providing housing apartments to the people who do not have their own housings.
In so doing, advanced housing projects, affordable housing projects and low-cost housing projects are implemented to sell apartments at various prices to the people as well as in-service personnel and retired ones.
Moreover, the Department of Urban and Housing Development under the Ministry of Construction and private entrepreneurs are taking responsibilities for the construction of rental housing projects for the public and retired service personnel in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council.
Nonetheless, solving the accommodation problem of people is sure to contribute much towards the endeavours of nation-building tasks.
With regard to the development of the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, local authorities grant to arrange municipal measures such as sanitation and beautifying tasks while providing necessary assistance to the general public and retired service personnel residing at apartments of housing projects in Nay Pyi Taw for their convenient accommodation. In Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, housing buildings are under construction with 614 square feet area of each rental apartment for the general public and 650 square feet area for the State service personnel and retired staff members.
Meanwhile, housing projects are being implemented in satellite towns of Yangon City as well as Mandalay City to fulfil needs of accommodation to the people, service personnel and retired service personnel with the aim of declining the number of people and service personnel who are unaffordable to own housings and apartments due to various reasons.
Nonetheless, solving the accommodation problem of people is sure to contribute much towards the endeavours of nation-building tasks.
