Yangon receives medical equipment, accessories donated by PLA, Myanmar Embassy, military attaché office in Beijing

The Air China flight carrying medical equipment and accessories donated by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), Myanmar Embassy and military attaché office in Beijing arrived at the Yangon International Airport yesterday.
Colonel Zaw Myo Han of local military hospital in Dagon Township and officials of the Ministry of Health accepted the donations.
The PLA donated 400,000 SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine (Vero Cell) and 403,200 hypodermic needles while the Myanmar military attaché office (Army, Navy, Air) in Beijing presented 16 oxygen concentrators, 240 PPE suits and 103,500 masks in addition to 72,000 Carrimycin tablets and 100,000 masks by the Myanmar Embassy in Beijing.
These medical supplies were transported from the Yangon International Airport to the medical storage depot in Dagon Township and the central vaccine store depot of the Public Health Department on Mindhamma Road in Mayangon Township.—MNA
