IDPs in Kyauktaw township receive first jabs of COVID-19 vaccine

People in Nay Pu Khan IDP camp in Kyauktaw Township, MraukU District, Rakhine State, received the first doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines yesterday morning.
With the management of U Kyaw Swar Nyunt, Chairman of the township administration body, officials from the Township Public Health Department, the Township Administration Department, ward/village administrators and the IDP camp in-charges collaborated for the vaccination process.
The vaccines were administered in line with the COVID-19 guidelines set by the Ministry of Health, and health awareness lectures were given to the vaccinated people.
It is reported that a total of 678 people from the Nay Pu Khan IDP camp in Kyauktaw Township received their first dose of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine yesterday. — Khin Maung Tun (IPRD)/GNLM
