Over 12-year-old students receive Covid vaccines in Hopin

Healthcare officials gave the first doses of Covid-19 vaccines to above 12-year-old schoolchildren from Youth Training Centre in Hopin, Mohnyin District, Kachin State on 24 October.
A total of 105 students: 37 schoolboys and 68 schoolgirls from high school received the first doses of Covid-19 vaccine (Sinovac) to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus as primary and secondary schools have been set up to provide students with basic education.
The second round of vaccinations will be given to students who have already been vaccinated in November.
The vaccination was carried out by township-level officials, Covid-19 Prevention and Control Committee and members, health workers, members of the fire brigade, members of the Women’s Affairs Committee and the Social Welfare Association. — Zwe Thura (IPRD)/GNLM
