In collaboration with the township administration body, Department of Health and Department of Public Education, officials gave COVID-19 vaccines to students studying at 158 schools in Kyaikto Township, who are over the ages of 12 and under the ages of 18 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The vaccination works were carried out at seven designated places in the township from 17 to 21 October.
The remaining students were vaccinated on 26 October at No. 1 Basic Education High School, No. 2 Basic Education High School and Basic Education High School (Theinzayat) separately.
The students were vaccinated with the permission of their parents or guardians.
