MoSWRR Union Minister meets departmental staff of Kyaukpyu, An, Thandwe townships

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khine received the staff of the Social Welfare Department and Disaster Management Department of Kyaukpyu township on 19 December.
During the meeting, the Union Minister discussed plans to improve the socio-economy and natural disaster management and proper cooperation work of staff in implementing these measures.
Then, the Union Minister and party went to the preschool of An township and gave guidance based on the reports of staff.
On 20 December, the Union Minister visited the Women’s Vocational Training School of the Ministry of Border Affairs in An township and discussed matters related to the development processes for the women.
At noon, the Union Minister also inspected the land where the Social Welfare Department constructs Preschool in Thandwe township and another land area where the Thandwe township office of the Disaster Management Department will be built.
The Union Minister and party then arrived at Thandwe District Office of the Disaster Management Department and cordially met the department staff.
The Union Minister also inspected the rescue materials warehouse of Thandwe District Office. — MNA
