Deputy commerce minister holds meeting with Mandalay industrial entrepreneurs, business owners

Industrial entrepreneurs and business persons meet in Mandalay via video conferencing with Deputy Minister for Commerce.

A meeting with industrial entrepreneurs and business owners was held yesterday morning through video conferencing at Pullman Mandalay Mingalar Hotel in Mandalay. At the meeting, Deputy Minister for Commerce U Nyunt Aung gave an opening speech on trade and commodity issues, the Joint Secretary of the Central Committee for on Ensuring the Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods and the secretary of the work committee explained the work of the committees.
Industrial entrepreneurs and business owners asked about the current trade issues, cash withdrawal issues to purchase raw materials for factories and to pay for salaries, banking matters, trade barriers, transportation challenges, and officials responded to the questions.
The Deputy Minister said businesspersons may dial the Central Committee Telephone No. 067-409671 and 067-409672 and Working Committee Telephone No. 09-664075683 and 09-664596327 if there is any difficulty in trade and flow of goods.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Than Than Swe, Mandalay Region Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Kyaw Kyaw Min, Mandalay Region Economic Minister U Thein Htay, Mandalay Region Chambers of Commerce and Industry and officials from factories, companies and organizations.—MNA
