14th Asian International Children’s Film Festival to be held

The Embassy of Japan in Myanmar will hold the JENESYS Online exchange programme “14th Asian International Children’s Film Festival”.
The programme will be held online this year and participants will enjoy the movies and interact with the youths from other countries. High school students who are interested in film and video creation are welcome to apply to this online programme.
JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) Programme is an exchange programme for the youths to observe various topics between Japan and countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
The period of the programme will be between 1:30 pm to 3 pm daily from 8 to 18 March 2022. A total of 5 online exchange programmes will be held over the above-mentioned programme period via the Zoom application.
Myanmar language interpretation will be available during the programme, while the communication with other participants and staff will be in English. Applicants must be high school students aged between 15 to 17. Applicants must be of Myanmar nationality and live in Myanmar. Applicants must be able to attend all 5 days online programmes and must have adequate internet access. Applicants who have already studied or stayed in Japan for a long time and who joined the following programmes are not eligible to apply. The application deadline will be 6 February 2022 (Sunday). Only the selected persons will be contacted by email for the details. If the number of entries reaches the maximum, there will be a draw for selection. —Myo Min Thura/GNLM
