People from remote villages get second dose of COVID jabs

Health officials administered the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines (Phase-5) to the people from the hilly villages of Mongyang Township, Kengtung District, eastern Shan State at the Wanyomai Village Rural Health Centre and the Hsemakaung Village Vaccination Centre in Yangkaung Village-tract on 24 January.
Vaccination is provided by the chairman of the township administration body led by Township Administrator U Aung Zin Oo, staff from Township General Administration Department and Township health workers.
Local people over the age of 18 in 11 villages in the inaccessible Yangkaung village-tract received the second dose of vaccines. — Khun Ye Htwe(Hsihseng)/GNLM
