Three-day decorated floats show concludes successfully in Nay Pyi Taw

A large flocks of people visited the Tabaung ground in front of Uppatasanti Pagoda where the honorary floats, which joined the Diamond Jubilee Union Day Ceremony from Nay Pyi Taw, the regions and states, were parked yesterday.
The floats display the culture, traditions, living styles and local products of ethnic people and the students, government employees, monks, nuns and residents can study there. The visitors also took commemorative photos with the parade floats and ethnic dance troupes.

The souvenir shops were also crowded with people. The ethnic cultural dance troupes from regions and states entertained the visitors with songs and dances in front of the floats.
Myanmar Police Force conducted security measures together with Tatmadaw members and Nay Pyi Taw Public Health Department opened the clinic to provide medical services for the visitors.
Moreover, the officials arranged traditional food fairs of ethnic people for the visitors.
Union Minister at the Union Government Office (2) U Chitt Naing enjoyed the performance of the Magway Region dance troupe that won first prize in the evening and gave presents to 108 members of the dance crew.
A total of 46 floats and 20 booths of ethnic traditional food were displayed between 8 am and 8 pm from 13 to 15 February. — Myo Set Thit/GNLM
