Training courses for youths conducted in Hpa-an

The opening ceremony of the home electrical wiring training and closing ceremony of the basic computer training, basic sewing training and man haircut course were jointly conducted by the Kayin State government working committee on creation of job opportunities and eradication of child labour and the education and vocational working committee at the Government Technical High School in Hpa-an on 11 March.
Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo said that children must be educated from an early age so that they will be relied on and proud of by the country in the future. The trainees and graduates are 14 to 18 years old when completing their vocational training. The chief minister continued to say that they need to increase their individual incomes by consistently practising the subjects that have been learned and using knowledge and skills to benefit each region and each community.
Afterwards, Principal Dr Nan Moe Moe Kyi of the Government Technical High School in Hpa-an gave a speech at the opening and closing ceremonies of short-term vocational training courses. The graduate representative returned words of gratitude.
State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo and cabinet members presented certificates and outstanding awards. State Advocate-General U Ye Lwin gave certificates of appreciation and honour to trainers.
