MoE Union Minister inspects first day of 2022 matriculation exam

The MoE Union Minister and party inspects one of the matriculation exam room in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, together with Deputy Ministers Dr Zaw Myint and U Zaw Win, Permanent Secretary Dr Soe Win, and Director-General of the Department of Basic Education U Kyaw Swa Thwin visited the Matriculation Examination Centre at No (6) Basic Education High School (Nay Pyi Taw) yesterday. They inspected students sitting the first-day Matriculation Examination in Myanmar Subject.
The Union minister instructed relevant officials that students who take the matriculation exam are encouraged to abide by with discipline and peace of mind.
He also instructed the Supervisions to fulfil their duties and assist them in completing the matriculation examination.
On the first day of the matriculation examination, students took the Myanmar Subject Exam at 1,238 internal examination centres throughout Myanmar and 20 foreign examination centres. A total of 312,420 students registered to take the exam in 1,258 examination centres, and 281,741 students took the exam. — MNA
