Providing banking services need to be trustworthy for customers: MoPF Union Minister

It should provide banking services in full for the sakes of banks and the public in order to win the trust of people, said Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein during the opening ceremony of the Banking Training (1/2022-2023) for Assistant Managers of the Myanma Economic Bank in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
He also said that the trainees should know the banking law, procedures and instructions through the training and need to hold guidance in the practical section. According to the trend, it should try hard to develop the core banking system.
The State-owned Myanma Economic Bank serves banking procedures for the people, businesses and organizations and keeps the accounts of all government departments in addition to the pensions and cash prizes of retired government employees under the laws, rules, orders, directives and procedures.
He then stressed the need to follow the Civil Service Personnel Law and Ethics of civil service personnel for the interests of the country and people.
A total of 30 assistant managers of Myanma Economic Bank joined the five-week training course. — MNA
