A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.1 Richter Scale with its epicentre inside Myanmar (about 17 miles east of Kengtung), latitude 21.26°N, longitude 99.86°E, depth eight kilometres, about 18 miles east of Kengtung seismological observatory happened at 23 hours 37 minutes 26 seconds MST on 21 July 2022. —Department of Meteorology and Hydrology
