Yangon mayor inspects Nyaunghnapin Agriculture and Livestock Special Zone

Yangon mayor U Bo Htay, in his capacity as chairman of Yangon City Development Committee, inspected the Nyaunghnapin Agriculture and Livestock Special Zone in Hlegu and Hmawby townships yesterday morning.
He gave instructions to neatly make patches of plants, dig the lake to provide water for plantations with storage of water and clear the pipe culvert at the drain.
The Yangon City Development Committee carries out land preparation for construction of a wholesale centre and patches of crops and digging the drains.
Later, the mayor viewed round the special zone-2 management committee office at the junction of M 5 and C 14 roads at Nyaunghnapin agriculture and livestock special zone, the park near Daewoo bus-stop in Hlawga forest area in Mingaladon Township, sanitation tasks on both sides of the Pyay Road, paving of asphalt concrete (AC) between the Hledan overpass and Parami road, landscapes and lamp-posts in the viewing path from Yangon-Pyay Road to Shwedagon Pagoda.
Then, he inspected the planting of 4,763 coconut plants from the department of parks and playgrounds and land preparation for new nurseries.
Later, he gave instructions on timely completion of works meeting set standards. —MNA
