Over 1,500 fire outbreaks occur across Myanmar in 2022

There were 1,507 fire outbreaks all over the nation in 2022 and the death toll was 96, stated the Myanmar Fire Services Department.
According to statistics from the Myanmar Fire Services Department, there were 139 injuries in fire outbreaks in 2022. A total of 224 cases of fire outbreak occurred in the Yangon region – the most in the country – and seven people were killed and 22 wounded.
There were 2,107 fire outbreaks across the nation causing a loss of over K33 billion with 105 causalities and 151 injuries. A total of 2,139 fire outbreaks caused a loss of over K6 billion with 75 deaths and 220 being wounded in 2020.
