Delegation led by wife of Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces visit eminent pagodas, landmarks in Thandwe

The delegation led by wife of the Chief of the Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces enjoy Rakhine's traditional dance and songs at the Amazing Ngapali Resort yesterday.

A delegation led by Madame Budsakorn Srisawasdi, wife of the Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, together with Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, and wives of senior military officers, visited eminent pagodas and significant sites in Thandwe of Rakhine State yesterday.
The wife of the Thai General and party yesterday morning offered oil lights, flowers, water and fruits to Shweandaw Pagoda and donated cash to the all-round renovation of the pagoda through members of the pagoda board of trustees. They then paid homage to Shwenandaw Pagoda.
In the afternoon, they together with wife of the Senior General and wives of senior military officers visited the Amazing Ngapali Resort where they viewed round Rakhine traditional weaving and traditional handicrafts. They enjoyed Rakhine’s traditional dance and songs presented by the resort.
They presented cash awards to the traditional dance troupe and posed for documentary photos. — MNA/TTA
