The Road Transport Administration Department has issued a notification that all private vehicles, whether their licences have expired or are still valid, will have to have new embossed number plates as soon as possible.
According to statistics from the Road Transport Administration Department, there are more than 600,000 privately-owned vehicles across the country. To prevent new embossed numbers from being installed on illegal vehicles, notices were issued to change and install the embossed numbers on vehicles as soon as possible in the respective road transport administration offices.
The new embossed number plates to be installed will have the descriptions of the relevant region and state, the number representing the township and the car manufacturer. Vehicle owners have to apply for new embossed number plates with the original and copy of the owner book and wheel tax and it will take almost two weeks. — TWA/KZW
