Lweje border trade registers US$0.577 mln on 17 April

According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce, trade worth US$0.577 million was carried out from the Lweje border with the neighbouring country China on 17 April.
Myanmar exported agricultural products worth $0.472 million as follows: 36 truckloads of tissue-cultured bananas, 16 truckloads of watermelon, a truckload of broken rice, two truckloads of butter beans, and four truckloads of kidney beans.
As imports, Myanmar received three truckloads of cartons, four truckloads of cardboard, a truckload of fabric rolls, a truckload of artificial turf, a truckload of corks, a truckload of construction iron rods and iron sheets, a truckload of kitchen appliances, and five truckloads of goods from China, the Ministry of Commerce’s data stated. — TWA/CT
