Myanmar’s star fighter Vero Nika smashed Vietnamese star fighter Trieu Thi via technical knockout-TKO in the third round of Thai Fight: King of Muay Thai Event yesterday.
Vietnam’s Trieu Thi, a SEA Games medalist, showcased her great technical skills. She carefully studied Vero Nika’s style of play, and responded tough in the fight.
In the early two rounds, both of them fought equally, which caught the attention of the fans.
The Vietnamese star mainly focused on touches for collecting points while Vero Nika is seeking for the knockout victory.
Vero Nika produced her powerful kicks plus series of punches. In the third round, Vero Nika hit the opponent with a body shot.
While the opponent was in pain, the referee gave a short break to her, but Vero Nika cleverly ended the fight with series of punches just after the break.
“This bout was the most intense of all Vero Nika fights in 2023. Vero Nika defeated a good opponent with her brilliant skills. No one has been able to take away Vero Nika’s title as the Queen of Thai Fight. Hits and punches are really scary. Now she has won 13 matches in a row in Thai Fights,” Thai Fights fans stated. — KZL
