Fake news: Kothan Village set on fire for second time, destroying nearly 100 houses

Malicious news media are spreading misinformation that security forces are burning about 100 houses in Kothan Village, Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, from 1 to 5 March.
The security forces did not even visit the area in those days, and according to reports from some residents, PDF terrorist groups arrived in the village on 4 March.
The security forces protect the lives and property of the people, and they also work together with the local people to ensure the security of the area and the peace of the community. Therefore, the false information circulated by the malicious news media is only purposefully written to scare the people and cause misunderstanding towards the security forces. — MNA/KZL
