AA commits War Crimes for its attacks in Sittway Tsp

AA insurgents intentionally opened fire from Ponnagyun to the wards in Sittway Township of Rakhine State yesterday, and the artillery shells fell into Set Yone Su 2, Konbaung ward and exploded. After the explosion, one male and one female were seriously injured and taken to General Hospital (500-bed) in Sittway Township.
The AA insurgents launched attacks using Drop Bombs and heavy weapons. Villages and public places in Sittway to affect the socioeconomic of locals. They committed 13 attacks using heavy weapons in Sittway township, including the attacks in villages in Sittway station on 28 February, Myoma Market (locally called Korea jetty) on 29 February, Kathe ward on 9 March, near No 7 BEHS in Padalate village on 11 March, school in Shwepyitha villages on 13 March, and Set Yone Su 2, Kongbong ward on 16 March.
Due to the attacks of AA, 18 people, including a 12-year-old child, died, and 47 people, including two matric examinees were injured. Moreover, schools, houses and departmental buildings were destroyed.
AA terrorists launched attacks in townships, villages, and wards, attempted to start fighting, and successively conducted destructive actions in real situations, saying it was for the sake of the region. They also intentionally shot the students and educational buildings. Their attacks on non-military targets, schools and wards seemed to break the Geneva Conventions and War Crimes. — MNA/KTZH
