A gathering to commemorate Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization’s film courses from 1956 to 2019

According to U Chan Thar Kyi Soe, Joint Secretary-3 of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO), there will be a collaborative gathering of participants from the MMPO film courses spanning from 1956 to 2019. The event is scheduled for 9 April.
U Chan Thar Kyi Soe stated, “Numerous renowned directors, actors, and actresses have emerged from the film courses held over the years, some of whom are no longer with us. The gathering on 9 April aims to bring together participants from the 78 years of these courses, which have covered acting, scriptwriting, directing, editing, and more. The goal is to share memories and experiences across generations.”
Invitations have been extended to various individuals including Academy May Than Nu, Academy Director Zin Yaw Maung Maung, Academy Director Nyi Nyi Tun Lwin, Academy Khant Si Thu, Academy Director Nyo Min Lwin, Academy Thu Htoo San, Arkar Myint Aung, Kaung Pyae, Bhone Thaik, Athen Cho Swe, Yu Thanda Tin, actor and director Htoo Paing Zaw Oo, Nyi Htut Khaung, Soe Thiha, Shin Min Satt, Bhone Nay La, and other film participants. — ASH/ TRKM
