Anti-government vinyl, poster holders arrested

Some unscrupulous persons keep conducting destructive elements, and some rioters intentionally draw anti-government letters on public roads, government and public buildings, hang and scatter the vinyl or posters in the streets to affect the stability of the State.
The security forces crackdown the riots and violence in line with the law to ensure the stability of the State and community peace and detain those distributing anti-government slogans or letters.
On 26 April, acting on a tip-off, the combined team comprising security members patrolled in front of No (5) B.E.H.S on Hledan road in No (3) Ward of Kamayut Township of Yangon Region. They arrested Kyein Mon Kein (aka) Cherry from No (8) Ward in “Aung Kaung San” tea shop together with 160 A4 papers bearing anti-government letters and other materials.
Similarly, the security forces arrested Aung Thein Oo for drawing an anti-government letter on Mar Gha road of Bago Su Ward in Thanlyin Township during their patrol at 9:30 am on 27 April. Those arrested will face serious actions under the law. — MNA
