Census to be taken for 15 days in October in selected 20 townships

According to the Ministry of Immigration and Population, the 15-day trial census will be taken at the 100 collection plots in 20 townships in regions and states starting from 1 October.
The data that has been collected up to now is being entered into the e-ID Biographic Registration System and the Household Registration Software Programme.
Up to 10 August 2023, the data of over 51 million people and over 13 million households has been entered into the software. Moreover, the biometric data of more than 700,000 people have been collected up to 10 August 2023. — TWA/MKKS
