Drugs seized in Myeik and PyinOoLwin townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force examined a suspect by the name of Myo Than (aka) Naung To in Tayoketan village in Myeik township at 6 pm on 29 May and seized 20,000 stimulant tablets from him.
In addition, a combined team searched the house of Tun Lin Aung in Mayinnge village in Myeik township at 1 pm on 30 May and captured Tun Lin Aung together with 12,000 stimulant tablets.
Similarly, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Nyein Chan (aka) Maniyan near the Peik Chin Myaung Nandamu Cave in PyinOoLwin township at 5 pm on 31 May and seized 1,950 stimulant tablets from him.
The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
