Fake news: Authorities direct to build bomb shelters in Bilin

Malicious news outlets are intentionally spreading fake news on social media, alleging that the General Administration Department (GAD) instructed governmental departments to construct air raid shelters in Bilin Township, Mon State.
In response to these claims, the GAD officer of the respective township confirmed that there was no such directive. The media outlets are circulating misinformation to instil fear and concern among the public.
These malicious media sources deliberately spread similar misinformation to undermine the country’s stability and peace, causing heightened anxiety among the public. — MNA/ TMT
