Kandawgyi to host Vegetable, Fruit and Horticultural Exhibition

The vegetable, fruit and horticultural exhibition will occur at the Palemahamyaing Park in Kandawgyi Natural Park in early 2024 as a Yangon Region Chief Minister’s trophy.
The exhibition was held from 1993 to 2020 but was suspended from 2021 to 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was resumed in January 2023 to promote the socioeconomic development of fruit, vegetable, and flower growers and contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
The vegetable, fruit and horticultural exhibition will be held with cooperation between the Yangon City Development Committee and the Yangon Region Agriculture Department, supervised by the Yangon Region government. — TWA/MKKS
