Laos and Cambodian delegations visit Botahtaung Pagoda

Delegations of Laos and Cambodia visited and paid homage to the Botahtaung Kyaikdeap Hair Relic Pagoda located in Botahtaung Township, Yangon Region, yesterday morning, according to U Aung Myat, a member of Pagoda Board of Trustees.
On 16 December, a five-member delegation team of Laos led by Deputy Minister for Planning and Investment of Laos Mme Phoneuanh Outhavong and a four-member delegation team of Cambodia led by Deputy Secretary-General of the Cambodia Investment Board Mr Nut Unvoanar visited separately the Botahtaung Pagoda.
The delegations attended the 26th Greater Mekong Sub-region ministerial conference in Nay Pyi Taw on 15 December.
The two delegations cordially offered flowers, water, and candlelights to the Botahtaung Pagoda and NanOo Pagoda, observed the exhibition centres around the temple and visited the devotion halls of Bobogyi and Mya Nang Nwe and other devotion halls on the pagoda platform. — ASH/ TMT
