Man jumps from Kamarkyi Bridge, Thakayta

A bicycle, slippers and some personal items were left behind on the bridge.

An unknown man jumped from the Kamarkyi Bridge in Thakayta Township into the Ngamoeyeik Creek at 10 am on 14 September, according to the charity team of Thakayta Township. There has been no confirmation of the identity of the man who left his bicycle, slippers and utensils by the bridge.
Police forces and members of charity teams are still searching for that man, who jumped from the bridge. The charity team official stated that their teams from Thakayta Township are still searching and have not found him yet.
A number of suicides took place in regions and states during the last week of August, including the Yangon Region. — TWA/GNLM
