MFF Elective Congress 2024 held

The Myanmar Football Federation Elective Congress 2024 was convened at Novotel Yangon Max Hotel in Yangon yesterday.
During the event, Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw delivered a speech. Next, MFF Elective Congress Commission Chairman U Tin Aung (former goalkeeper) explained the election procedures.
In the football, a president and three vice-presidents, two male and one female, and 15 executives were elected, and one futsal and beach soccer representative and three representatives from the region and state of Upper Myanmar were chosen by 41 voters.
After the voting, Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw presented a medal to the former President of the Federation U Thaung Htike with in recognition of his efforts for Myanmar football.
The President of the Myanmar Football Federation then announced that the executive committee unanimously elected U Aung Ko Win and Dr Sai Sam Tun as patrons of the Myanmar Football Federation.
The programme of honouring the famous former Myanmar national team footballers who achieved success up to the level of the Asian Championship continued, and the president of the federation, U Zaw Zaw, honoured a former Myanmar national team player U Soe Myint, with a monthly honorarium in perpetuity on behalf of the players.
Afterwards ASEAN Football Federation President Maj-Gen Khiev Sameth congratulated the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) for successfully holding the MFF Elective Congress 2024. Then, MFF President U Zaw Zaw expressed his gratitude on behalf of the new executive committee and adjourned the conference. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
