MJA offers exchange visit for excellent Myanmar matriculation students

Yangon, 7 June— Myanmar Japan Association made the outstanding Myanmar matriculation students an offer of applying for exchange visit programme.
A total of 20 outstanding matriculation students in 2014-2015 academic year will be awarded the 8-day visit to Japan in September this year, according to the announcement
of MJA.
Some 95 students from states and regions who got the highest market in previous exam can apply for this exchange visit programme by 10 July, and MJA will interview the shortlists.
U Saw Hla Min, the President of Myanmar Japan Association, said the exchange visits is aimed to promote relations between two countries, providing human resource development and honouring outstanding Myanmar students in the matriculation exam.
Under the programme, the selected Myanmar students will get a chance to visit a university in Tokyo and general science museum during their three-day visit in the capital and a four-day home stay in northern Japan, according to MJA.
MJA has donated school uniforms and stationery to the students at two basic education primary schools in Phygyi Station and Shwemyaya monastic education middle school, in north district of Yangon, on 2 June. GNLM
