More than 100 returnees come back home by train from Lashio

Shan State (North)’s COVID-19 Containment Working Committee handed over a total of 111 returnees by train to their natives yesterday.
The Myanmar nationals returned from China arrived in Lashio through Muse, Laukkai and Chinshwehaw townships.
The returnees included 75 males and 36 females. Of them, four are from Kachin State, three from Chin State, 24 from Sagaing Region, 11 from Bago Region, two from Mon State, 25 from Magway Region, eight from Mandalay Region, one from Nay Pyi Taw, 11 from Rakhine State, 11 from Yangon Region, and 11 from Ayeyawady Region.
The Chinshwehaw’s COVID Committee handed over a total of 13,583 returnees, 8,341 males and 5,242 females, on trains to the townships concerned since 6 May.—Nan Thanda Oo (IPRD) (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
