MoST Union Minister meets Indian Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw held talks with Indian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Saurabh Kumar at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting, they discussed the opening of Myanmar University of Information Technology (MITI) as cooperation between Myanmar and India, the situation of improving human resources development in the field of ICT, cooperation between Myanmar universities and India Institute of Information Technology – Bangalore (IIIT-B), and plans for cooperation in Myanmar’s renewable energy and biotechnology sectors.
Next, the two sides cordially discussed further cooperation with the Remote Sensing Department at Mandalay Technological University. — MNA
