Myanmar futsal team is included in Group E of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 Qualifiers with India, according to the drawing-lots ceremony held for the tourney.
Team Myanmar is placed in Group E along with India, Kyrgyzstan, and Palestine.
In the qualifiers, 31 teams are divided into four groups of seven teams and one group of three teams totalling eight groups.
Myanmar national futsal team head coach Mr Bunlert Charoenwong expressed his feeling about the situation that came out of the drawing-lots ceremony.
“I am satisfied with the results of the group division. But all the countries are playing futsal well and have strong teams, so I cannot take it lightly. We will prepare the team to the best of our ability,” the head coach said.
The futsal qualifiers will be held in the first week of October, and the Myanmar national futsal team has been training since 19 June, as stated by the Myanmar Football Federation. — KZL
