Myanmar National Team beat MNL Foreigners Team 4-3

Myanmar National Football Squad garnered their 4-3 win over Myanmar National League Foreigners Team in their friendly match, played on 17 March at Thuwunna Stadium.The MNL Foreigners Team is made up of foreign players who were playing in the Myanmar National League football clubs.
Owing to the global spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus disease, the match was played without spectators (behind closed doors).
The winning goals for Myanmar National Football Team were scored by Yan Naing Oo, Maung Maung Win, Myo Ko Tun, and Pyae Moe.
Myanmar team head coach Antoine Hey has already selected 23 footballers, and the training sessions for the players were conducted from 12 to 17 March in Yangon.
Though Myanmar National squad was scheduled to participate in the FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualification, the matches have been postponed amid Covid-19 crisis, according to the instructions and announcements released by FIFA and Asian Football Confederation. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
