Myanmar striker Win Naing Tun joins Indonesian Football Club

Myanmar national team star striker Win Naing Tun has joined Borneo Samarinda Football Club in Liga 1 Indonesia, according to the team statement.
The young Myanmar forward player moved from Yangon United to start his new football journey.
The 23-year-old is set to become the very first player from Myanmar to play in the Indonesian top league.
“I congratulate Win Naing Tun on joining the Borneo FC family and his presence adds to the attack options for next season,” said Borneo president Nabil Husein in an official statement posted on the Indonesian football club’s website.
“Although the contract with Win Naing Tun is till the end of the year, Yangon United allowed him to play in Borneo to expand his career life and would like to support the growth and development of the Myanmar National League and Myanmar National Team,” his former club Yangon United posted on their official website.
Win Naing Tun is considered as the young talented striker in Myanmar, having played 25 matches for the Myanmar National League with one goal scored. — KZL
