National Day of Nepal: Embassy of Nepal holds reception in Yangon

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan attended a reception to mark the ninth anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of Nepal and National Day, held at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Yangon yesterday evening.
The ceremony was opened with the National Anthem of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the National Anthem of Nepal, followed by Mr Harishchandra Ghimire, Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar, delivering a welcoming speech.
Union Minister U Min Thein Zan, the Nepali ambassador and guests cut the cake commemorating the ninth anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of Nepal and its National Day.
The Union minister and the ambassador and attendees had a group photo taken and the ambassador hosted a dinner for those who attended the celebration. Traditional cultural dances of Nepal were performed during the dinner. — MNA/KZL
