A total of 259,794 people in NyaungU district, Mandalay Region, have been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of 14 December, according to the NyaungU District Administration Body.
At 24 vaccination sites in NyaungU Township and Kyaukpadaung Township, a total of 115,614 doses of both Sinopharm and Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in NyaungU Township and 144,180 doses of the vaccines in Kyaukpadaung Township, respectively.
It is reported that the vaccination will continue depending on the availability of the vaccines and mobile COVID-19 immunization teams are also carrying out the inoculation in remote villages, according to U Toe Lwin, Chairman of the NyaungU District Administration Body. – Ko Htein (KPD)/GNLM
