Nyaung Chaungthar beach to be opened on 28th February

A FAMOUS Nyaung Chaungthar beach resort will be formally opened on 28 February on an elaborate scale.
The committee of Nyaung Chaungthar Beach Construction has 41 shops of the same size built. The committee facilitated the administration and security of the beach. The committee has anticipated many visitors will come and enjoy the beach, said U Nyunt Win, assistant director from the Nyaungdone Township Development Affairs Department.
The opening ceremony includes performance programmes. A traditional elephant dance, Kayin Donyein dance, stage show and the young performers of Gitameitswe from 9 am to 6pm, it has been learned.
“We came from Meikhtila. Nyaung Chaungthar is crowded with vistors in this period. When we got here, we knew the opening ceremony will be on 28th February. We will try our best to come back again on the opening day. We enjoy it so much at this beach. We can explore the regional diversity of each place: hot springs in Shan State; sea water at Ngwe Saung and now the fresh water at the Nyaung Chaungthar beach resort.”, said Ma Ei Khine Zin Phyo and her friends playing at the beach.
Nyaung Chaungthar beach is located at the intersection of Ayeyawady and Panhlaing Rivers in Nyaungdon Township, Maubin District, Ayeyawady Region.
