A truck overturned on the Nawnghkio-Yaksawk Road near Thayetgon Village in Shan State on the afternoon of 14 June, resulting in one death, according to the Fire Services Department.
Search and rescue personnel from Nawnghkio Township Fire Station carried out rescue operations after receiving the report that the driver was trapped in the front seat at the scene of the accident. The ambulance of the Phyusin Myitta Social Association rushed the driver (the deceased) and the conductor (not critically injured) to the Nawnghkio People’s Hospital. — TWA/CT
